Bid on this bottle of 2012 Dönnhoff Estate Riesling (Feinherb). From the importer: "This was filtered a week before I tasted it, and so it seemed stonier than the '11 and stonier than the sample I'd tasted in January. There's quite a peek of mineral; one could say a pique of mineral, as it has a certain sharpness that isn’t abrasive, and will be subsumed when it recovers its fruit; the smoky porphyry notes are embedded and will emerge. Sourced mostly from Felsenberg (90%) the rest comes from Hermannshöhle and Leistenberg." (Michael Skurnik Wines)
