Reviewed January 2026The 2024 Saint-Aubin Les Charmois 1er Cru, raised in 25% new oak, is refined on the nose, doesn't want to create too much fuss, gradually opening with crushed stone/lemon verbena scents. The palate is fresh and vibrant, crisp and citric, countervailing creamy slightly richer notes emerging towards the Chassagne-like finish. Very poised and accomplished.
