Medium-bodied but with a wonderfully light touch, this turns from power to delicacy at the very long finish.

The 2023 Riesling Rüdesheimer Berg Roseneck Grosses Gewächs was picked exclusively from the Katerloch parcel. A touch of yeast still appears on the nose, where lemon and crushed tansy have a most refreshing expression. It’s almost like an herb-flavored lemonade. The palate is slender, taut, bright and exquisitely zesty, yet pitched against a creamy backdrop. This is a beautifully lithe, agile Riesling with lots of charm and quiet depth. (Bone-dry) (AK)
