Reviewed May 2026The NV Extra Brut Les Rendez-Vous de Billecart-Salmon No. 9 is 100% Pinot Noir from Ambonnay, all 2018 vintage, done in stainless steel. Kirsch, dried flowers, mint and cedar give the No.9 lovely aromatic presence. In tasting, the No. 9 reminds me of the flagship Clos Saint-Hilaire, but without the textural dimension that wine shows through its vinification and aging in oak. This is a very pretty wine that shows the lighter, more ethereal side of the vintage. Dosage is 4.4 grams per liter. Disgorged: August 2025. (AG)
