Reviewed June 2026The 2025 Il Rosato mixes vivid nectarine and navel orange with hints of tarragon and sweet smoke to form its compelling bouquet. It's soft textured with a stimulating core of acidity and sour citrus tones to balance, as a saline mineral saturation adds salivating tension toward the close. It tapers off with excellent length and clarity, leaving flinty notes and a lemony concentration that has me looking back to the glass for more. The magic of Nebbiolo Rosato is on full display. (BN)

Founded in 1906 in Gattinara, the Nervi estate entered a new chapter when Roberto Conterno of Giacomo Conterno acquired it in 2018. Its "Il Rosato" presents Nebbiolo as a rosé, a different expression of the grape at an estate best known for its northern Piedmont reds.
