2025 Domaine Jean-Paul & Benoît Droin Chablis 1er Cru "Montmains"

The 2025 Chablis Montmains 1er Cru has a classic nose, quite Côte de Beaune/Meursault in style, with touches of hazelnut infusing the vivid citrus fruit. Wonderful delineation. The palate is well balanced, with hints of tangerine and citrus peel, edgy and driven by its live-wire acidity. Very harmonious and concentrated towards the finish, this is something of a bravura Montmains that will give 20 years' drinking pleasure.
