The white 2022 La Bastid is serious, austere, and clean, with floral notes and aromas of white fruit and some yeasty and spicy hints. It's expressive, with an intriguing nose, complex fruit and has a fresh and fine palate. It has a moderate 13% alcohol and a soft mouthfeel. It was produced with a blend of 70% Viura and 30% Garnacha Blanca, 50% from his own vines, and the rest purchased grapes, fermented in concrete, oak foudres and 600-liter barrels, where it matured with lees for one year.
