The 2022 Grifi wafts up cloves, grilled herbs and musky blackcurrants. Silky-smooth textures contrast a saturation of red and black fruits, while nuances of graphite and liquid stone add further complexity. The finish is structured and very long with youthful tension, leaving a tart blackberry tinge and fine-grained tannins. (EG)

That fragrant blueberry and balsamic nature, with a hint of undergrowth and graphite, is intriguing. The texture is so well intertwined between Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese that the sip is smooth, elegant, well-integrated in structure and pace, and dynamic and tasty in the lengthy closure.
