2024 Les Petits Lieux (Emmanuel Rouget) Cote de Nuits-Villages

Emmanuel Rouget, the nephew who inherited Henri Jayer's vines and his methods, launched Les Petits Lieux with the 2024 vintage to work purchased fruit alongside the domaine. The label takes its name from Jayer's own words: "The winemaker must be modest, better yet, humble in the face of so much wealth concentrated in such small places." Emmanuel's Cote de Nuits-Villages pulls from the northern and southern ends of the cote, and drinks like a junior Nuits-Saint-Georges.
