The flagship 2024 Pinot Noir Old Eight Cut comes from seven vineyards, roughly 75% volcanic soils and the balance marine sedimentary. Medium red in color, it opens with fresh cherry, flowers, spice box, and crushed stony earth. Medium-bodied, it has bright natural acidity, iron-toned minerality, snappy red fruit, and refreshing lift. It’s a wonderful snapshot of the vintage to drink over the coming 8-10 years. (AF)

The 2024 Pinot Noir Old Eight Cut wafts up with a remarkably pretty bouquet of sweet lavender and sage, a whiff of confectionery spice and crushed wild blueberries. It is juicy in character, with silky textures and cooling acidity as crisp wild berry fruits cascade across the palate. The finish is floral and perfumed, leaving a violet floral note to linger. (EG)
