The 2024 Magician Riesling from SOFH shows pale straw hue with crystalline brightness. Aromas of white jasmine, lime zest, pear skin, and crushed stone lift from the glass, accented by a faint petrol note. The palate is dry and precise, offering flavors of green melon, starfruit, and citrus peel balanced by sharp mouthwatering acidity. Medium in body, the wine feels both taut and refreshing, finishing with mineral tension and a lingering citrus edge. Thai food, here I come!

he 2024 ‘The Magician’ Riesling comes from the Evergreen Vineyard which is a cooler location in the Ancient Lakes AVA. This edition is bone-dry, made in the halb-trocken style, showing kerosene aromatic accents. Green herbs and sour yellow plum flavors mark the palate, alongside Gravenstein apple and a fat mouthfeel. This is going to pair with a dizzying array of foods. Drink 2025-2031.
