2025 Root & Stone Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay

Root & Stone is a label created exclusively for us at K&L. Earlier this year, an incredible opportunity came our way to purchase a parcel of wine from a legendary vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills at an almost too-good-to-be-true price. The timing wasn’t quite right to bottle the wine under our Anonymous Wine Collective program, but luckily, our partner in creating this wine already had the Root & Stone concept ready to roll. As it turns out, the label couldn’t be more fitting for this particular wine. Sourced from old vines rooted in intensely rocky soils, this is a beautifully mineral-driven wine that captures a distinctive sense of place. The name really says it all: Root & Stone!
