Reviewed June 2018The 2015 Pinot Noir Doc's Ranch Vineyard is a powerful, earthy wine. Macerated dark cherry, spice, tobacco, dried leaves and menthol give the Doc's Ranch a very distinctive soil-driven profile that matches its overall gravitas. There is terrific richness and density to the fruit. Time in the glass brings out the wine's virile, muscular feel. The 10% whole clusters are nicely integrated. (AG)
