Reviewed October 2018An exceptional sense of detail and precision on the nose of this with fine, red-berry and sous-bois notes and blue fruit in behind. The palate delivers scintillatingly fine, fresh and very elegant tannins that carve a long, linear shape and leave fresh raspberries and cherries on point. Excellent pinot from this elevated, coastal site. Drink or hold.

The 2015 Pinot Noir Estate Vineyard brings together the natural richness of the year with the tension and focus that are such signatures of this coastal site. Energetic and tightly wound, the Estate is one of the more reticent wines in the range, I imagine it will always remain a wine of structure first and foremost. (AG)
