Reviewed January 2026The 2024 Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley) is delicate and understated. Crushed red berry fruit, spice, new leather, cedar, mint and dried flowers are all laced together. The Russian River Pinot is a bit quiet in this vintage, but that works in its favor. (AG)

Founded in 1978 by Steve Kistler and Mark Bixler, Kistler Vineyards has long focused on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in Sonoma County. This 2024 Pinot Noir carries the Russian River Valley appellation, a Sonoma growing area shaped by the cooling influence of Pacific fog.
