Reviewed January 2026A deeper more serene purple than the village wine. If there is again a whiff of something green on the nose, it is very minor. The concentration is there, raspberry and strawberry yet still with a tougher edge. Jean-Pierre found himself caught between vinifying light or else extracting tougher components as the fruit did not want to come out easily. Drink from 2029-2034. Tasted Oct 2025.

Note: 1 barrel made in 2024. This is also sufficiently reduced to reveal little on the nose. More interesting are the richer and more voluminous flavors that possess a vibrant mid-palate that contrasts noticeably with the slightly flat finish. This may well recover as a lack of energy is not typical in the 2024 vintage and as such, my predicted range offers the benefit of the doubt.

More fluid, mobile, flavour – concentration too – there is some generosity due to the concentration. Finishing well.
