Note: from 40+ year old vines from a huge 2.5 ha parcel in Genevrières Dessus. A cool, pure and elegant array is vaguely exotic with its brooding nose cinnamon tea, lavender, gardenia and green apple scents. The wonderfully refined, super-sleek and quite punchy middle weight flavors coat the palate with dry extract that also serves to buffer the firm acid backbone shaping the focused, complex and beautifully persistent finish that is borderline pungently mineral-driven. This is very classy though like the Charmes, it's a wine that will require extended keeping to reach its apogee. In a word, excellent.*Burghound Outstanding!*
