Reviewed January 2026Mid lemon yellow. A distinguished but understated bouquet, partly spring flowers, partly fresh apple. There is power behind, with tension at the back of the palate, a light citrus wash to the orchard fruit, a feeling of treading on very small white stones, and a refined finish. Drink from 2028-2032. Tasted Nov 2025.

The 2024 Puligny-Montrachet Village, a blend of four lieux-dits, has a brisk granitic nose that takes a few swirls to warm up. Just a little Chablis-like. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, now back into the Côte de Beaune stylistically with commendable weight towards the finish that lingers in the mouth. This will give a decade, possibly more, in terms of drinking pleasure.(NM)

Note: from Les Meix, Houlières, Corvée des Vignes and Le Noyer Bret. Firm reduction again dominates the fruit. There is very good richness and an evident bead of minerality to the sleek medium weight flavors that offer fine complexity and outstanding persistence on the clean and notably dry finish. Bill Nanson Burgundy Report: "Again, 4 different parcels assembled here – the youngest vines are over 50 years old. A subtly toasty depth, but this wine is a little more closed in the aromas. Like the Chassagne but more chiselled. The middle and finish with fine concentration and slightly more direct. I love the finishing vibration of flavour – what an excellent wine…."(01/2026)
