Reviewed January 2026Middle lemon yellow. Plump, a little rustic on the nose. We are down in clay territory. A little bitterness from ripe orange and lemon skins, almost vegetal but with body and character. Awkward now, but clearly a wine which needs more time. Drink from 2030-2034. Tasted Oct 2025.

Note: from 15% Les Brussonnes, 35% Petits Clos and 50% Les Fairendes that total .7 ha. Smoky and layered aromas include those of various white-fleshed fruit, petrol, rosemary oil and similar hint of oak. There is good size and weight to the delicious and fleshy medium-bodied flavors that display solid power that carries over to the balanced, lightly austere and mildly rustic finale. This too would benefit from developing more depth so a few years of bottle aging should prove helpful.
