Reviewed January 2026Pale lemon yellow. Fine white fruit on the nose, a little more classic than the ultra-fresh St-Aubins. I find this a particularly classy example, still fresh enough at the finish but with a very well-balanced orchard fruit across the palate. Drink from 2028-2030. Tasted Oct 2025.

Note: from 8 different lieux-dits with an additional <15% of declassified 1ers. A less elegant if still attractively layered nose freely reveals its aromas of rosemary oil, the essence of pear and background hints of wood and petrol. The sleek and punchy medium weight flavors aren't nearly as refined or stony yet they do offer very good power that carries over to the delicious, dry, lemon-tinged, and well-balanced finale. I like the style and this is a quality Chassagne villages.*Burghound Outstanding!*
