2021 J. B. Becker Rodchen Riesling Auslese

The 2021 Riesling Martinsthaler Rödchen Auslese trocken is grown on deep, stony, loam-loess soils. It first hits the nose with a touch of lees, followed by bright, vivid lemon. The palate is also bright and lemony, all bedded on lees, with a hue of apricot alongside the lemony brightness and clarity. The zestiness on the palate leads to a very dry finish. (AK)
