The red 2023 Supersónico comes from a single vineyard at 1,000 meters in altitude, planted with Garnacha and around 5% Macabeo, which fermented together with 100% full clusters and matured in foudres and oak casks. It has a bright ruby color and a perfumed nose that is floral and spicy, more reductive than oxidative, subtle and elegant. It has finesse—finer than Elástico—purity of flavors, some bright red berry fruit, very fine tannins and very good freshness, reflecting the higher altitude. It has energy and light. This is really good and overdelivers for the price. (LG)
