Reviewed July 2025Coming from Martinelli’s coolest site for Chardonnay, the 2022 Chardonnay Martinelli Road offers a bit more depth, with pretty tropical notes with hints of crystalline. Pure and fresh, with beautiful creaminess, it has fantastic balance, a pithy texture, and light notes of almond on the finish. Drink 2025-2035. (AF)

Toasted spice and grilled bread flavors give the impression of a serious version, with flavors of peach preserves, marmalade and cardamom, plus a whiff of smoked butterscotch. Notes of ripe, salted melon, dried apricot and nougat come through on the finish. Drink now. (MW)
