Rather lush, with creamy-textured plum, boysenberry and blackberry puree flavors gliding through, liberally laced with licorice and warm Christmas pudding notes. Reveals a nice apple wood accent that adds energy on the finish. Still has a flicker of iron and some subtle tarry grip, but it's a very fruit-forward style. Best from 2023 through 2036. (JM)
