An alluring red, with gently mulled blackberry, boysenberry and mulberry fruit flavors that glide through slowly, flanked by singed anise, violet and hibiscus notes. There's a subtle minerally twang buried as well, and everything knits well through the finish. Hard to resist now, but there's energy for the cellar. Drink now through 2035. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. (JM)
