Reviewed October 2024A Rioja blend with a combination of red and dark fruit, spices and violets. The palate is fluid, medium- to full-bodied, elegant and concentrated, with polished tannins and a subtle, nervy edge. Very approachable already. (JGA)

The red 2022 Gabatxo is serious, balanced and ripe without excess. It has 14% alcohol and balanced acidity with what seems to be the soft 2022 profile with a tender palate. It has good depth and persistence and integrated oak. It's a little darker than the others and comes through as a little riper. It was produced with 50% Garnacha, 45% Tempranillo and 5% Graciano fermented and destemmed separately and then blended and matured in oak vats for 15 months. (LG)
