The 2024 Pinot Noir is the producer’s first Mendocino County appellation wine, intended for wider distribution and offered at an unbelievably fair price. Stock up and then stock up again. It totally overdelivers, made from grapes grown on the estate as well as single-vineyard designates Clow Ridge and Valenti in Anderson Valley and Mendocino Ridge. Ripe and round, it never tastes overripe, instead layering dark red fruit and cardamom spiciness and other spice box components over a medium-bodied core of freshness and firm tannins. Drink now through 2030. (VB)

A pretty and delicious wine with aromas and flavors of blue and red fruit, Bing cherries, wild strawberries, raspberries, incense, exotic spices and mushrooms. Wonderful purity of fruit on the medium-body palate, with a cleansing, minty quality in the finish. A good value. Drink now. (CH)
