Reviewed November 2023The 2021 Parallel Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and it has a deep garnet-purple color. It gallops out with powerful notes of stewed plums and baked blackcurrants, followed by hints of aniseed, Indian spices, and tilled loam. The full-bodied palate is chock-full of rich black fruits, with a sturdy frame of firm, chewy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing with good length, if a little rugged. 93+ (LPB)

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is a pungent, savory wine. Dried herbs, lavender, menthol, licorice, cloves, game, cured meats and black pepper are some of the notes that run through this decidedly potent, rustic Cabernet Sauvignon. Burly tannins add to an impression of virile intensity. It will be interesting to see how this turns out. (AG)
