2015 Cass "Rockin' Ted" Paso Robles-Geneseo District Rhone Blend

A sun-kissed blend of 39% Mourvèdre, 31% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Petite Sirah, the 2015 Rockin' Ted offers up aromas of sweet cherries, dried herbs and marmalade. On the palate, it's full-bodied, ample and open-knit, with velvety tannins and a generous core of baked fruit flavors. I'd like to see a bit more energy, but it's my favorite of these reds from Cass Winery. (WK)
