A blend of 48% Grenache, 27% Mourvèdre, and the rest Syrah, the 2016 Points Unknown was aged 14 months in French oak. This medium ruby colored wine offers a smoky, dark fruited bouquet that has plenty of ground herbs, pepper, and scorched earth as well as plenty of black cherry and mulberry fruit. It's nicely balanced, medium to full-bodied, has good acidity, and is a beautiful GSM blend from California.
