Reviewed January 2026This starts with a discreet nose that quickly crescendos on the palate. It’s a bold, delicious glass of Meursault that shows notably good concentration for the tricky vintage. It is also impressively well balanced between the medium body and gently cleansing acidity. Apple pie, graham crackers and toasted hazelnuts abound. Try waiting at least six to eight years for this. If temptation can’t be resisted, at least decant it.

Fresh pale lemon. Complex and elegant, the mineral detail one expects, dancing beautifully across the palate, more complete than Gruyaches with very fine persistence. Drink from 2029-2034. Tasted Oct 2025.

Burghound
Wood and reduction push the fruit to the background save for a suggestion of citrus-character. The super-sleek and markedly finer and more mineral-driven, though not more concentrated, flavors while delivering solid length on the lightly austere and bone-dry finale. This is lovely as well but it can't match the Gruyaches for overall quality.*Burghound Outstanding!*
