The flagship from this estate is the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Black Diamond Reserve Napa Valley Monument, which is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that’s still resting in 80% new oak. Its saturated purple hue is followed by a ripe, sexy, full-bodied beauty with lots of cassis and currant fruit as well as ample spice and floral notes, terrific mid-palate density, velvety tannins, and outstanding length.

Parallel's 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Black Diamond Reserve Monument isn't as rich and seductive as the 2019 vintage, but it's an impressive wine nonetheless. Menthol, cedar and black, plummy fruit notes appear on the nose, while the full-bodied palate is dense, ripe and chocolaty yet firmly built, with up to two decades of aging potential. 95+ (JC)

Concentrated and powerful with aromas of blackberries, cassis, graphite, tobacco and baking spices. The palate is full-bodied and firmly structured, showing dense dark fruit, savory herbs and a mineral edge. This is such a powerful wine with a long life ahead in bottle. Drinkable now but best from 2029.
