The fruit for the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate comes from a five-acre vineyard planted in 2018 and located just down the street from Hundred Acre on Crystal Springs, just across from Merus. Based on 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged 22 months in new French oak, this wine offers fabulous crème de cassis, crushed stone, graphite, and subtle violet nuances. It's a powerful, full-bodied effort with flawless overall balance, ripe, building tannins, no hard edges, and a huge finish. It's pure class. Hide bottles for 4-5 years if you can, and drink over the following three decades. There are roughly 200 cases produced. Drink 2029-2059.
