Reviewed January 2026The 2024 Meursault Les Tessons is often my favourite of Bouzereau's Village Crus and this year is no different. This has impressive complexity on the nose with walnut and brioche scents unfolding in the glass - all very seductive. The palate is fresh on the entry with a fine bead of acidity, quite sapid in style, focused and energetic, fanning out like a Premier Cru on the finish. Superb.(NM)

Pale lemon, very little nose at first, some light verbena notes. Then the Tessons builds in structure on the palate, very graceful as this wine always should be, with fine length. The aftertaste brings out the best here. Drink from 2028-2032. Tasted Oct 2025.

Moderate reduction overshadows the fruit today. More interesting are the super-sleek, vibrant and bright middle weight flavors that possess both good power and minerality where the latter adds a sense of lift to the bitter zest-inflected finale that displays outstanding length for a villages-level wine. This could use better depth so at least mid-term cellaring is recommended. In a word, excellent.*Burghound Outstanding Top Value!*
