The 2024 Meursault Genevrières 1er Cru has a more generous bouquet than the Les Charmes-Dessus: yellow fruit, hints of walnut and sesame becoming more lanolin-like with aeration. Superb delineation. The palate is well balanced with a silver thread of acidity woven through the slightly peachy apricot tinged fruit. Good weight on the finish, this is an impressive follow-up to the 2023.(NM)
