Notes
The 2024 Brezza Langhe Nebbiolo (DOC) is a spectacular masterclass in joyful, unadorned varietal transparency, acting as a direct, crunchier extension of the estate’s historic organic vineyards right on the edge of the Barolo commune. Enzo Brezza crafts this lively bottling from estate parcels rooted in the sandy, silty-clay Marne di Sant'Agata of La Morra, alongside selection plots from Monforte d’Alba. True to their fiercely traditionalist, low-intervention ethos, the fruit undergoes a precise, short maceration on the skins for roughly 6 to 8 days in stainless steel to minimize harsh, woody tannin extraction. It is then aged entirely in neutral Slavonian oak botti and steel for only a few months before bottling under a glass Vinolok closure, ensuring that the raw fruit energy of the vintage remains completely unmasked.
