Reviewed September 2025The 2023 Garnacha de Fuego is from Sierra de Pardos and Sierra de Peña Blanca, Aragón. It is ripe, with sour cherry, a faint sanguine note, floral tones, vermouth hints and gentle field herbs over soft jam. Concentrated, with lightly robust tannins, this has balanced acidity and red-fruited persistence. (JH)

Bodegas Breca was founded in 2012. Garnacha de Fuego is a young, primary fruit expression of the oldest clones of Garnacha in the world, from the high altitude mountains of Calatayud. The altitudes, age of the vines, and slate dominant soils produce a wine of tremendous character and concentration, balanced by fresh acidity that provides balance and drinkability, and elegant minerality.
