Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2019 Noisette Cuvee gallops out of the glass with powerful notes of cassis, plum preserves, and kirsch giving way to suggestions of menthol, Indian spices, and Sichuan pepper. The medium to full-bodied palate coats the mouth with velvety tannins and bright, ripe fruit, finishing long with a refreshing lift.

The 2019 Noisette Cuvee is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. A blast of dark red cherry, rose petal, lavender, spice and tobacco lends freshness as well as vibrancy. The Noisette Cuvee is a blend taken from sites in Yountville, Rutherford, Oakville and Diamond Mountain.

Aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and cocoa powder. Full-bodied with fine, slightly chewy tannins. Rich and pleasant, with nice texture and weight. I like the subtle wet-stone and overturned-earth undertones. Drink or hold.
