A full lemon yellow in colour. An expansive bouquet, oak plus white fruit, opulent Charmes style. Relatively broad on the palate but tightened up by the acid structure. Seems less concentrated overall than the Poruzots but has equal persistence. Drink from 2029-2034. Tasted Oct 2025.

The 2024 Meursault 1er Cru Les Charmes is showing promise, expanding in the glass with aromas of white peach, nashi pear and freshly baked bread mingled with white flowers. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, ample and bright, with considerable mid-palate volume, concluding with a long, saline finish. It possesses a texture that is rare to encounter in this vintage.(KK)

Moderate wood still easily allows the aromas that blend notes of acacia blossom with super-fresh white orchard fruit and petrol scents. There is both fine volume and density to the beautifully refined and energetic medium weight flavors that possess impressive depth and persistence on the impeccably well-balanced finale.
