The 2024 Meursault Village, which is a blend of seven parcels and spends one year in barrel and one in vat, has a delectable bouquet with light fumé elements marrying well with the citrus fruit. The palate is fresh and mineral-driven, taut and fresh with fine weight and real tension on the finish that tempts you back for another sip. One of the best Meursault Villages that you will find.(NM)

Seven plots, up and down the hill. Racked to tank. More lemon than lime in colour, with quite a classic Meursault rounded concentration. Once again there is notable intensity in this Henri Germain 2024. A fresh lime aspect towards the finish, alongside notable white fruit with a little fresh. Extremely promising for the medium term. Drink from 2028-2031. Tasted Oct 2025.

Note: from 6 lieux-dits, including Vireuils, Peutes Vignes, Moulin à Judas, Clos du Cromin, Dressoles and Les Pellans. A more floral, and more elegant, nose speaks of cool pear, apple and citrus wisps. There is again very fine volume and mid-palate density to the medium-bodied flavors that are at once plump but punchy, all wrapped in a lingering and markedly dry but not really austere finish. Lovely.*Burghound Outstanding!*

Originating from eight parcels and the largest of Germain’s cuvées by volume, the 2024 Meursault Village shows well, unfurling with notes of lemon rind, white spring flowers and pear, mingled with freshly baked bread. It follows with a medium- to full-bodied, layered yet tensile palate, built around racy acids and an ample chalky structuring extract.(KK)
