Vacheron remains one of Sancerre's benchmark producers, and the 2025 vintage is a clear reminder why. Bright grapefruit and Mandarin orange peel lead the charge, grounded by fresh pea shoots and Meyer lemon for that unmistakable Sancerre profile. A wisp of smoky flint adds nuance to the wine's texture, while taut acidity keeps everything precise and focused. Always limited—and always a treat.

Notes

Domaine Vacheron is a fourth-generation family estate in Sancerre founded around 1900, when Maurice Vacheron began tending vines on the silex-rich soils outside the village. His son Jean was the first to specialize in winemaking, and Jean's sons Denis and Jean-Louis built the domaine's reputation across both Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir before handing stewardship to cousins Jean-Dominique and Jean-Laurent Vacheron, who converted the estate to certified organic and biodynamic farming and expanded holdings to approximately 45 hectares. All fruit is hand-harvested with native yeast fermentations, and the estate's village Sancerre blanc is sourced from the fault line between silex and caillottes soils.
