Reviewed January 2026The 2024 Pinot Noir Estate Vineyard is one of the most compelling wines in this range. It's classic Ehren Jordan all the way. Dark-fleshed fruit, lavender, licorice and dried herbs all develop in the glass. I admire the wine's energy, complexity and overall dimension. Floral, earthy and savory notes continue to build through to the layered, expansive finish. The Estate Pinot is a blend of all three sections of the vineyard, an approach that naturally offers a a great deal of complexity both with regard to terroir and clone. (AG)

Failla’s 2024 Estate Pinot Noir comes from the winery’s home vineyard in Fort Ross-Seaview, a coastal Sonoma County appellation established in 2012. Set on high ridges near the Pacific, the estate occupies the elevated terrain that distinguishes this nested Sonoma Coast AVA.
