The 2025 Villa Sparina Gavi del Comune di Gavi is an incredibly bright, chiseled, and classically high-toned expression of the Cortese grape. Instantly recognizable by its iconic, amphora-shaped bottle, the Moccagatta family crafts this benchmark white from estate-grown, 30-year-old vines rooted in the clay-marl soils of Monterotondo. Fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel, it is kept on its fine lees for several months, completely avoiding oak makeup to protect the grape's pristine, high-altitude energy.
