James Suckling
Reviewed July 2025Perfumed aromas of red cherries, rose petals, blood oranges, fresh flowers, blueberry bush and spices. The palate is silken and polished with fine-grained tannins that have no hard edges. The balance of power, finesse and precision is incredible. The ultimate drinking pleasure. Can be enjoyed now or for decades to come.

Vinous
The 2023 Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze Grand Cru is more cohesive and complex than the Chapelle-Chambertin. Boasting dark berry fruit, bay leaf and touches of Earl Grey, it is very composed. The palate is medium-bodied, very graceful and harmonious, with sappy red fruit and a silver thread of acidity leading to a peacock's tail toward the finish. This is one of Jadot's best Côte de Nuits cuvées in 2023. (NM)

Wine Spectator
This is ripe and lush, saturating the palate with black cherry, blackberry, violet, sweet spice and salty mineral flavors. There’s vibrant acidity, well-rounded tannins, terrific balance and a long aftertaste. Overall, this is elegant. Best from 2030 through 2050.

A richer purple and a fuller riper nose, if less fine. Sumptuous but chunky with drier tannins, still quite impressive but it struggles after the perfect balance shown by the Chapelle-Chambertin
