2023 Domaine de la Tour Penet Macon-Peronne

The 2023 Mâcon-Pérrone from Anne Ramonet is a lovely very classic example of top flight Mâcon-Villages. This bottling is fermented and raised in stainless steel tanks and offers up a bright and complex bouquet of apple, white peach, toasty Mâconnais soil tones, citrus zest and a gently musky floral topnote redolent of honeysuckle. On the palate the wine is bright, crisp and full-bodied, with a lovely core of fruit, good soil undertow and grip, fine balance and a long, complex and zesty finish. This is very good Mâcon chardonnay! (Drink between 2025-2035)
