2024 Domaine Jean Foillard "Cuvée Corcelette" Morgon

The 2024 Morgon Corcelette has a wonderful, characterful bouquet with brambly red fruit, hints of sous-bois and wilted rose petal. Impressive delineation. The palate is fresh and vibrant with gentle grip on the entry. Fine structure, a little powdery in texture, with a slightly herbaceous, tea-leaf finish, but focused. Very classy, though one I would broach over the next four to six years.(NM)
