2024 Domaine du Vissoux (Pierre-Marie Chermette) Moulin à Vent "Les Trois Roches"

Jean-Étienne Chermette’s 2024 les Trois Roches is a stunning young wine and will no doubt be one of the greatest wines produced in this outstanding vintage. The wine comes in at a classic thirteen precent octane and just exudes purity and class on the nose, wafting from the glass in a complex blend of sweet cassis, dark berries, grilled pigeon, a beautiful base of dark soil tones, French roast, woodsmoke, a touch of whole clusters, peonies and a gentle hint of oak from its sojourn in older Burgundy barrels. On the palate the wine is deep, pure, full-bodied and sappy at the core, with great soil signature and grip, ripe, seamlessly-integrated tannins, impeccable balance and a very long, complex and superb finish.
