2022 Dalrymple Chardonnay Coal River Tasmania

Dalrymple winemaker, Peter Caldwell, turns his attention to Coal River Valley chardonnay here. Light straw with fruit characters of lemon, grapefruit and nectarine with hints of soft spice, grilled hazelnuts, white flowers, lemon butter, creamy oak, fennel, stone and marzipan. Lemony and creamy on the palate with tight, fine acidity and a blast of lemon drops on the finish. (DB)
