Reviewed September 2023The 2021 Pinot Noir Three Sisters Vineyard takes plenty of time in the glass to reveal pure cranberry, sour cherry, mushroom, moss and allspice aromas. The light-bodied palate is softly chalky and features concentrated yet highly detailed flavors, while its crunchy, spicy fruit character and mouthwatering acidity compel you to revisit the glass. 190 cases were made. The 2021 Pinot Noir Three Sisters Vineyard is a very pretty, translucent wine. Sweet red cherry, rose petal, mint, dried flowers and spice are nicely delineated. This is an especially understated style for Martinelli, but it works well. (AG)
