2016 Kind Cellars ''Henry Brothers Ranch" Reserve Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon

Kind Cellars was founded by Richard “Rich” Bechtel, a longtime technology executive and wine collector who established the label in Napa Valley after decades of involvement with fine wine. The inaugural vintage was produced in 2005, with an emphasis on small-lot wines sourced from premier Napa Valley mountain vineyards. The name “Kind” reflects Bechtel’s personal philosophy and also nods to the Hawaiian pidgin expression “da kine,” a term associated with something of high quality. The Howell Mountain Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon from Henry Brothers Ranch comes from one of Kind Cellars’ longstanding vineyard sources on Howell Mountain. The site has supplied fruit for several of the winery’s most highly regarded bottlings, including Reserve Cabernet Sauvignons that have earned multiple 95+ to 99-point scores from Robert Parker/Wine Advocate and Jeb Dunnuck.
